This page explains what information is collected while using the Moodera app and how it's used. Moodera is not a medical device or a treatment tool; it's a wellbeing app that offers a voice-based relaxation and focus experience.

Information we collect

Preferences like the display name you enter and the modes you choose are stored locally on your device. Your listening sessions (duration, mode, the answers you give) are also kept on your device and used to build your personal view on the "Summary" screen.

How we use this information

This information is only used to give you a personal experience: deciding which sound to play, building the summary screen, and sending reminders. We don't sell your information to third parties or share it for advertising purposes.

Where your data is stored

Your profile and session data are primarily stored on your device. Audio files are downloaded from a cloud storage infrastructure (a content delivery network) for the app to work; during this download, standard technical information such as your IP address may be processed by the provider, as with any internet service.

Subscription and payment

Pro subscription purchases are processed through the App Store or Google Play. Your payment information is processed by Apple or Google; Moodera does not have access to this information.

Deleting your data

You can fully delete your profile, session history, and preferences using the "Reset data" option in the app. Local data is also removed along with your device when you uninstall the app.

Children's privacy

Moodera is not directed at users under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from this age group.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes within the app.
